How much does a private day tour with driver cost?
Prices are per vehicle and start from €450. From Naples, the Amalfi Coast tour (Positano, Amalfi and Ravello) costs €450 with a Mercedes E-Class (up to 3 passengers), €500 with a V-Class (up to 7) and €700 with a Sprinter (up to 8); Pompeii and Sorrento costs €450, €500 or €650; Paestum with a mozzarella tasting costs €550, €600 or €800. Is the price per person?
No, every tour is priced per vehicle. You pay only for the car service with driver; entrance tickets, guides, wine tastings and meals are paid separately.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. The tour is private, so you can add, skip or shorten stops with your driver. Tell us your wishes when you book and we adapt the day.
Is a guide included?
The driver speaks English and knows the area, but is not a licensed guide. A licensed guide for Pompeii or Herculaneum can be booked for €160.
Can we book a tour from a cruise ship?
Yes. We pick you up at the cruise terminal in Naples and plan the timing around your all-aboard time. See our shore excursions page.
How do I book and pay for a private tour?
Book online on this page: choose where you start from, the tour, the date and the vehicle, and send the request with nothing to pay now. We check availability and email you a secure SumUp payment link, to be paid within 24 hours. You can pay a deposit by card and the balance in cash to the driver, or the full amount by card (10% VAT added). Cancellation is free, with a full refund, up to 48 hours before the tour.
